Ed Vallorani is Selected to Present at the 8th Annual Lean, Six Sigma Conference at SIUC <4/12/2011>
Avanti Improvement Solutions, LLC is proud to announce that Ed Vallorani has been selected to speak at the April 28, 2011 8th annual Lean, Six Sigma Conference which will be held at Southern Illinois University - Carbondale (SIUC).
Ed will present Manage Your Bucket of Squirmssm. This interactive program will cover techniques to handle those difficult customer situations.

Ed Vallorani is Recognized by ASQ-St. Louis with the 2011 Volunteer Excellence Award <3/15/2011>
At tonight's annual awards ceremony, the St. Louis Section of the American Society for Quality (ASQ) recognized Ed Vallorani with the Volunteer Excellence Award. This award is given to a member for "a high or special level of volunteerism for a special event or a high or special level of volunteerism based on long-term service
to the section." It is one of four possible awards that are given annually.
Ed was recognized for his contribution to the section's education program. As Education Chair, Ed revitalized the section's program of providing certification classes to students who are preparing to take the ASQ Certification Exams.
Ed Vallorani to Serve on EMIB Alumni Relations Board <3/8/2011>
Ed Vallorani has been selected to serve on the Alumni Relations Board of St. Louis University's Executive
Masters of International Business (EMIB) program. This board serves as the link between the approximately 450 graduates of the EMIB program and the University. (The first graduating class from the EMIB program was in 1992.) It is also responsible for planning quarterly alumni events to help the alumni from this prestigious program to stay in touch with each other.

Ed Vallorani is Selected to Teach the European Business Class at St. Louis University <12/17/2010>
The Boeing Institute of International Business at St. Louis University has selected Ed Vallorani to teach the Spring 2011 European Business class in its Executive
Masters of International Business (EMIB) program. Ed has traveled to Europe for business on numerous occasions and is excited to share his experience and knowledge with this year's students.

Ed Vallorani Receives a Master of International Business Degree <8/13/2010>
Today a Master of International Business degree was conferred on Ed Vallorani by St. Louis University upon successful competition of their Executive
Masters of International Business (EMIB) program. The program consisted of classes with an intense focus on today's international business environment. Classes met every other weekend for two years.
Upon receiving his degree Ed stated, "At time it was difficult to juggle the rigorous demands of the EMIB program with the demands of a business career. However, the practical knowledge gained was certainly worth the effort. I am glad it is over, but I also feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity to participate in this program with its exceptional faculty and outstanding students."

Ed Vallorani joins the Leadership Committee of ASQ-St. Louis <2/9/2010>
Tonight Ed Vallorani joined the Leadership Committee of the St. Louis Chapter of the American Society for Quality as the Education Chair. In this role, Ed will be responsible for coordinating the section's Certification Classes. These classes are intended to prepare students to take the ASQ Certification Exams.

Ed Vallorani to Present for Webster University's Center for Professional Development <1/4/2010>
Avanti Improvement Solutions, LLC is proud to announce that Ed Vallorani has been selected to a presenter during 2010 for Webster University's Center for Professional Development (CfPD) in St. Louis. Ed will conduct a half-day seminar, Customer Service is Everyone's Job, on April
29, 2010 and August 24, 2010.
Ed also developed the topics for the CfPD's 2010 Strategic Planning Professional Roundtable Series. This series has six sessions covering various aspects of strategic planning. Ed will host the following sessions: Establish Your Vision
and Mission, on March 24, 2010; Explore Your Unique Resources, on August 18, 2010; Institutions and Partners on September 22, 2010; and Balanced Scorecard on October 20, 2010.

Ed Vallorani is selected as a speaker at the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) Seminar, Sept, 19, 2009, in St. Louis <8/24/2009>
The St. Louis chapter of the National Association of Women in Construction has selected Ed Vallorani as one of the speakers for its Personal Enrichment Workshop scheduled for September 19, 2009. Ed will speak about The Art of Customer Service. This all day event will be held at the St. Louis Community College's Florissant Valley

Ed Vallorani Assumes Leadership of Yellow Tie's Writers Special Interest Group <7/15/2009>
Today was the 1st meeting of Yellow Tie's revived Writers Special Interest Group. Ed Vallorani has assumed leadership of this group
with a new group focus and agenda. Membership in the group is open to any Yellow Tie member who wants to develop or improve his/her writing skills. Each meeting will feature a grammar refresher segment and a creative writing exercise.
Yellow-Tie's mission is to find people who believe in giving, to help them form peer groups, and then to make it easy for them to provide value to one another, because if each individual provides value to his or her group, everyone wins.

Ed Vallorani is accepted to St. Louis University's Executive Master of International Business Program <8/9/2008>
Avanti
is pleased to announce that Ed Vallorani, owner and CEO, has been accepted to, and has enrolled
in, St. Louis University’s Executive
Master of International Business (EMIB) program. This two-year program is administered by the Boeing Institute of International Business at St. Louis University. The Boeing Institute, established
in 1984, was one of the first institutes of its kind, and a true pioneer in
academic international business programs.”
Ed
states, “I have enjoyed my international experience, and I want to continue to
develop that skill set. The world is becoming smaller, and the pace of
international business will only accelerate in the coming years. This is why I
am so excited about the EMIB program at St. Louis University.” In describing
why he chose this program, Ed says, “I see an opportunity to combine two of my
passions: my passion for learning and my passion for international business.
While I have been blessed with previous international experience, I know that
there is so much more to learn, so I can continue to add value to the process.”
Classes begin at the end of August 2008.
Graduation will be in Summer 2010.

Ed Vallorani is Elected as President of the St. Louis ODN <8/16/2007>
At today's monthly membership meeting, Ed Vallorani was elected President of the St. Louis Organization Development Network. Ed's term as President will run from Sept. 1, 2007 through August 31, 2008. For the past year, Ed has been the Treasurer of this organization.
The St. Louis Organization Development Network is a group of professionals with a mission to serve the OD community through learning experiences and opportunities to interact with peers. The organization strives to create an atmosphere where members can learn, share ideas and build business relationships with other members.
